I am a PhD Candidate in Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University. My research focuses on rural economic development in high- and low-income settings, with particular interests in rural labor markets and agricultural production. I primarily use causal inference methods, drawing on data from in-person surveys, remotely sensed data products, and secondary sources.
During my PhD, I have worked as a short-term consultant with the Agriculture and Food Practice of the World Bank. Prior to graduate school, I served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal from 2017-19. I have an M.S. in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University (2023) and a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University (2017).
